It was the time' when movies used not to be for entertainment only but spreading social awareness also. "Mother India" is one of them' that exposed social and economic corruption of rural India.
The movie has filled up with sorrow, emotion, devotion & sacrifice, that make me emotional often and get realized' what happen' when the economic system runs on the basis of interest. I remembered, one of my friend who used to job in finance company, once he told me, brother' really I realize, interest is a fire, that has been burning whole society and now I knew it' why it's prohibit in Islam.
Mother India written and directed by Mehboob khan and the film has been described as "an all-time Indian blockbuster" the film won the National Film Award for Third Best Feature Film in 1958.
The film was India's first submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1958 and was chosen as one of the five nominations for the category, the movie made mile stone of Bollywood.
Watch this cinema and realize the condition' of this country didn't change yet, daily we keep on reading, and watching in news about farmer's suicide, who are compel to live worse life and they have no option besides self killing.
"Well' India Is An Agricultural Based Economic Country" but still The Agriculture-Man is in much trouble.
Just think that' who generate their large contribution for this nation, why they are going to be worst day by day. Is it enough to say that: Victoriousness of Farmer and Victoriousness of Soldier.
Actually' I do not think that' Capitalism will provide human rights to human ever.
i think the moral is tht we should not go for show off...as its an old hindi proverb "har chamakne wali chez sona nahi hoti.."
